    • It aims to introduce heat-tolerant corals to protect reefs from climate change and rising ocean temperatures. 
    • The CryoDiversity Bank in Australia holds the world’s largest collection of frozen coral sperm from 32 species, collected annually since 2011.

  • Dholpur–Karauli Tiger Reserve:Rajasthan that was approved in 20 This reserve was notified in 2023 and is the 55th tiger reserve in India.

  • Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve: This reserve was notified in 2023 and is the 54tth  tiger reserve in India




In the fresh waters of River Ganga and River Brahmaputra, a variety of dolphin locally called Susu (also called blind dolphin) is found. The presence of Susu is an indication of the health of the river.
